Ingredients
- 5 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 c. onion, chopped
- 1/4 c. flour
- dash of pepper
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 c. chicken broth
- 2 to 3 c. chicken, cooked, diced
- 1 c. carrots, cooked, diced
- 1 c. frozen peas, cooked
- 1 c. potatoes, cooked and diced
Method
- In butter saute onions until soft, but not brown.
- Add flour, salt and pepper.
- Gradually stir in broth; cook until sauce starts to thicken.
- Place chicken and vegetables in 2 quart casserole. Pour broth mixture over chicken and vegetables.
- Top with ready mix biscuits or use a butter crust.
- Bake 375° for 25 minutes or until biscuits are done.
- Serves 6.
