Ingredients
- 2 broiler size chickens (about 2 lb. each), cut in half
- 6 or 8 medium potatoes, cut into 4 parts
- 6 tender carrots
- 4 small onions
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1 or 1 1/2 c. cream
- 1/2 stick butter
Method
- Slice the butter over the top (1/4 cup of butter).
- Place raw vegetables in a roaster with a tight fitting top.
- Place chicken halves on top of vegetables.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper and half and half cream over the ingredients.
- Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
