Ingredients

  • 1 head (medium) cabbage
  • 1 c. grated American cheese
  • 1 c. grated Longhorn cheese
  • 2 c. medium white sauce
  • 1/4 c. corn flake or cracker crumbs

Method

  • Cut the cabbage coarsely.
  • Cook in a small amount of salted water until tender.
  • Drain.
  • Grease a large baking dish. Alternate a layer of cabbage, then a layer of the cheese, and then a layer of the white sauce.
  • Top all of the casserole with the mixed cheese and the crumbs.
  • Bake at 350° until the ingredients are heated through and the cheese is golden brown.
