Ingredients
- 1 lb. dry small navy beans
- 1 tsp. prepared yellow mustard
- 1 tsp. salt
- 6 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. molasses
- 1/2 lb. chopped bacon
- 1 chopped onion
Method
- Soak beans overnight.
- Drain.
- Place all ingredients in roaster.
- Add warm water to cover.
- Bake in slow oven (300°) until beans are tender and most of liquid is absorbed, 3 to 4 hours.
