Ingredients

  • 25 gm Butter
  • 2 Tbsp. Dark brown sugar
  • 2 x Granny smith apples

Method

  • Preheat the oven to 220c/425f/Gas 7.
  • 1 Heat the butter in a small roasting tin on the hob and add in the sugar, heating till melted.
  • 2 Core and slice the apples on a mandalin or possibly with a sharp knife.
  • Place the apple slices in a single layer in the roasting tray and transfer to the oven.
  • 3 Bake for 3-4 min, turning during cooki g. To serve, stack each apple back up on a plate.
  • Stir the sugar mix in the tin to loosen it (it should have apple juices in it now) and drizzle this over the apples.
