Ingredients

  • 16 slices white bread
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 22 strips bacon (uncooked), cut in thirds

Method

  • Trim ends of bread.
  • Spread 8 slices with cream cheese and make sandwiches with remaining 8 slices.
  • Cut sandwiches into 8 small rectangles.
  • Wrap 1/3 strip of bacon around rectangular sandwich and secure with toothpick.
  • Place hors d'oeuvres on baking sheet and place under broiler until golden brown; turn over to brown other side.
  • Makes 64 hors d'oeuvres.
