Ingredients

  • 3 egg yolks
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar or lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp. reserved pineapple juice
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 can Queen Anne cherries, pitted
  • 1 large can mandarin orange slices
  • 1 large can pineapple chunks (unsweetened)
  • 1 c. mini marshmallows
  • 1 c. whipped cream or Dream Whip

Method

  • Combine egg yolks, sugar, vinegar, pineapple juice and butter in top of double boiler or heavy saucepan.
  • Heat, stirring constantly, until texture is custard-like. Remove from heat. Drain the canned fruit.
  • Mix with marshmallows.
