Ingredients
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 c. flour (self-rising)
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Cream shortening and sugar until fluffy.
- Add eggs and vanilla.
- Add flour.
- Knead lightly on floured board.
- Roll and cut cookies with favorite cookie cutter.
- Brush lightly with beaten egg white on cookie and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
- Bake at 350° until light brown.
