Ingredients
- 1/2 stick butter or margarine
- 1 onion, sliced
- squash, sliced
- 2 to 3 tomatoes, sliced or chopped
- 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1/4 c. water
- salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Simmer squash, onions, tomatoes, butter or margarine and water until tender or done with lid to cover.
- Cut pan off.
- Put cheese over mixture and cover until melted very well.
