Ingredients
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. milk (evaporated)
- 1 1/3 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. nuts
Method
- Cream butter and sugar.
- Add beaten eggs and milk.
- Add sifted flour and baking powder.
- Beat well, then add vanilla and nuts (save some nuts for top).
- Bake in square cake tin in moderate oven for 30 to 40 minutes.
- Ice with buttercream icing.
- Decorate with remaining nuts.
