Ingredients
- 1/4 c. butter or margarine
- 4 Tbsp. flour
- 2 c. liquid (asparagus juice and milk)
- 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- 2 c. spaghetti
- pimentos and green pepper to taste
- 1 large can asparagus
Method
- Make cheese sauce with butter, flour, liquid and grated cheese (I prefer sharp cheese).
- Add pimentos and diced green pepper. Grease casserole dish.
- Put in a layer of spaghetti and layer of asparagus and pour part of cheese sauce over it.
- Repeat the layers of spaghetti and asparagus and remainder of cheese sauce. Cook at 350° for about 45 minutes or so.
