Ingredients
- 1/4 lb. butter
- 2 c. light brown sugar
- 2/3 c. white Karo
- 1 can Eagle Brand condensed milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- shake of salt (if desired)
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts (if desired)
Method
- Cook all but vanilla and nuts to 246° (soft ball stage).
- Add vanilla and nuts.
- Pour into well-greased 8 x 8-inch pan.
- When cold, turn upside down on flat surface and let it fall out.
- Cut in strips and then into pieces.
- Wrap in squares of wax paper.
