Ingredients

  • 1 loaf bread (I use Brick Oven)
  • 1 (16 oz.) cream cheese
  • 8 oz. Blue cheese
  • 1 lb. butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 boxes frozen asparagus spears, thawed

Method

  • Cream the cheeses.
  • Cut crust off bread. Roll out bread, flattening with a rolling pin.
  • Spread cheese on bread.
  • Place one asparagus spear on the bread and roll it as for a jelly roll. Next, roll in melted butter and freeze.
  • Cut each log into 3 or 4 sections. Bake at 350° for about 30 minutes.
