Ingredients

  • saltine crackers
  • 1 can asparagus
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 c. grated cheese
  • 1/2 stick butter

Method

  • In medium baking dish, place a layer of crumbled saltine crackers.
  • Sprinkle 1/2 of cheese over crackers.
  • Layer asparagus, cut in bite size pieces, and liquid over cheese.
  • Pour cream of mushroom soup evenly over asparagus.
  • Make another layer of cheese, then a layer of crushed saltines on top.
  • Dot with butter. Bake at 350° until golden brown, but not too dry.
