Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup cilantro
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon coriander seeds
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 teaspoons rice vinegar
  • 1 1/2 pounds top sirloin beef, trimmed and thinly sliced into 2" long pieces
  • 1 tablespoon coriander seeds

Method

  • In blender or food processor, blend cilantro, soy sauce, honey, vegetable oil, coriander seeds, garlic, and rice vinegar until mostly smooth; transfer half to large bowl along with beef. Toss beef to coat. Reserve remaining marinade for basting. Marinate beef at least 30 minutes or up to 1 day, covered and refrigerated.
  • Thread beef on skewers. Grill on medium-high 6 to y minutes or until cooked through and charred in spots, turning and brushing with reserved marinade occasionally.
