Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup walnuts
  • 1/4 cup walnut oil
  • 1 cup arugula
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 2 tablespoons sweet onion roughly chopped
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/3 cup creme fraiche
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili flakes
  • 2 tablespoons water

Method

  • Place walnuts in blender and pulse on setting 2 (chop) 4-5 times.
  • Add remaining ingredients and process on setting 3 until mixture begins to get creamy. Do not over process. Let stand at room temperature 2 hours to let flavors develop before serving. Can be stored in refrigerator up to one week.
