Ingredients
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 tsp. chopped fresh garlic
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 4 (14 oz.) cans artichoke hearts, drained and quartered
- 1 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 c. grated Romano cheese
- 3 drops hot sauce
- 1 c. seasoned bread crumbs
- butter
Method
- In large saucepan, saute onion and garlic in olive oil.
- Add quartered artichokes and stir over low heat for 15 minutes. Continue to cook and stir in Cheddar and Romano cheeses.
- Add hot sauce, then add bread crumbs and mix well.
- Pour into greased 2-quart baking dish; sprinkle with additional bread crumbs and dot with butter.
- Bake at 300° for 30 minutes.
