Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter
  • 2 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 (10 oz.) apricot preserves
  • powdered sugar

Method

  • Combine butter, cream cheese and sugar.
  • Add flour.
  • Shape dough into ball; chill overnight.
  • Roll out 1/8-inch thick.
  • Cut into 2 x 2-inch squares; place 1/2 teaspoon apricot preserves in center.
  • Bring 2 sides together and pinch tightly.
  • Place on foil-lined cookie sheet.
  • Bake at 400° for 12 to 15 minutes. Place on cookie rack on waxed paper; sprinkle with powdered sugar while hot and again when cooled.
