Ingredients

  • Crust:
  • 1 C flour
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • dash salt
  • 1/3 C canola oil
  • 1 T plus 1 tsp cold milk
  • Filling:
  • 6-7 apples
  • 3/4 C sugar
  • 1 1/2 T flour
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 T butter
  • pinch of allspice
  • few sprinkles baking spice
  • Crumble topping
  • 5 1/3 T butter
  • 3/4 C flour
  • 1/2 C sugar
  • cinnamon

Method

  • Crust: Mix dry ingred in a pie pan. Add milk to oil; pour into dry ingredients in the pie pan. Mix and spread with fingers.
  • Peel and slice apples thin. Combine with filling. Prepare crumble topping by cutting the butter into the flour and sugar. Sprinkle over apples.
