Ingredients
- 7 qt. apples
- 5 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. cornstarch
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 2 tsp. nutmeg
- 2 tsp. lemon juice
- 10 c. water
Method
- Pack 7 jars half full of apple slices. Combine all other ingredients and bring to a rolling boil. Cover apples in jar with filling. Fill jars within 1-inch from top with apples and cover with filling. Lids should be in boiling water for 20 minutes. Place lids and rings on jars. Boil 20 minutes in a hot water bath.
