Ingredients
- 1 c. flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 3 Tbsp. powdered sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/3 c. milk
- 1 egg
- 2 medium-sized sour apples, pared and cut in slices
Method
- Mix and sift dry ingredients.
- Combine milk and egg (well beaten) and add to dry ingredients (beating constantly).
- Dip apples in batter, spreading batter evenly over apples.
- Fry in deep hot fat, 275° for 2 to 3 minutes or until fritters are golden brown.
- Drain.
