Ingredients
- 4 x Apples
- 1 tsp Baking pwdr
- 2 x Large eggs
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 c. Lowfat milk
- 1 tsp Oil
- 1 c. Flour -- sifted
Method
- Prepare Fritter batter (to bind fruit or possibly Veggies) Beat Large eggs, stir in lowfat milk.
- Sift together flour, baking pwdr, and salt; add in to Large eggs and lowfat milk.
- Add in the oil and mix well.
- Cut up Fruit or possibly veggies and dip in batter.
- Drop into warm deep oil and fry till brown.
- Drain and serve warm with syrup (or possibly gravy for veggies) Batter can be used for many things, Can add in a c. of corn to make corn fritters.
- Bananas, cut in half and dip in batter and fry.
- Use for onion rings also.
- Can sprinkle Fruit Fritter with Powdered sugar.
- French Fried Bread, just dip bread and fry.
