Ingredients
- 6 medium tart cooking apples
- 6 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 6 tsp. oleo
- cinnamon
- 6 (7-inch) squares pastry
Method
- Peel and core apples.
- Place on center of pastry square. Place 1 tablespoon brown sugar and 1 teaspoon oleo in each apple. Sprinkle each apple with cinnamon.
- Bring opposite points of pastry up over apple.
- Overlap; moisten and seal.
- Carefully place a few inches apart in baking dish.
- Bake in preheated oven at 350° for approximately 1 hour or until well browned.
- Serve warm with cream, if desired.
