Ingredients
- 1 c. oats
- 1/2 c. sifted flour
- 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 c. softened butter or margarine
- 4 c. peeled sliced apples
Method
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Combine first five ingredients in bowl. Cut in butter until crumbly.
- Layer apples and oats in buttered 8-inch square pan, pressing lightly.
- Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until apples are tender.
