Ingredients
- 3 Tablespoons Butter
- 2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
- 2 whole Apples, Thiny Sliced (your Choice, But I Use Golden Delicious Or Gala)
- 4 whole 8-inch Tortillas
- 1 teaspoon Lemon Juice
- 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese (Mozzarella And Other Cheeses Work Well, Too)
Method
- Melt butter and brown sugar in a saute pan and add apple slices.
- Saute until apples are soft and coated with the butter and brown sugar, but not mushy.
- Place one-half of the apple mixture with the glaze on a tortilla and sprinkle with a bit of lemon juice.
- Add enough of the shredded cheddar cheese to cover the apples.
- Cover with another tortilla and press lightly.
- Repeat the process with the other two tortillas.
- Heat a griddle or a large skillet.
- I use a pat of butter and sprinkle lightly with brown sugar to give a light glaze to the tortillas.
- Place the tortillas on the griddle or skillet and cook for approximately 2 minutes on each side.
- Remove to a cutting board and slice into wedges.
- I use a pizza cutter.
