Ingredients

  • 3 Tablespoons Butter
  • 2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
  • 2 whole Apples, Thiny Sliced (your Choice, But I Use Golden Delicious Or Gala)
  • 4 whole 8-inch Tortillas
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon Juice
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese (Mozzarella And Other Cheeses Work Well, Too)

Method

  • Melt butter and brown sugar in a saute pan and add apple slices.
  • Saute until apples are soft and coated with the butter and brown sugar, but not mushy.
  • Place one-half of the apple mixture with the glaze on a tortilla and sprinkle with a bit of lemon juice.
  • Add enough of the shredded cheddar cheese to cover the apples.
  • Cover with another tortilla and press lightly.
  • Repeat the process with the other two tortillas.
  • Heat a griddle or a large skillet.
  • I use a pat of butter and sprinkle lightly with brown sugar to give a light glaze to the tortillas.
  • Place the tortillas on the griddle or skillet and cook for approximately 2 minutes on each side.
  • Remove to a cutting board and slice into wedges.
  • I use a pizza cutter.
