Ingredients
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. caraway seed
- 1/4 tsp. red cayenne pepper
- 1 c. red wine vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 4 to 6 medium apples, cut up
Method
- In a large saucepan combine all ingredients, except apples. Boil gently for 5 minutes until mixture reduces 1/2.
- Add apples and simmer uncovered until apples are tender.
- Cool and store covered.
