Ingredients

  • 3 x Cooking apples
  • 1 bag frzn mixed fruit
  • 1 tsp Nutmeg
  • 1 ounce Butter
  • 6 ounce Cereal/oatmeal
  • 4 ounce Demerara sugar
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/4 pt Double cream
  • 1 ounce Butter

Method

  • Preheat the oven to 200C.
  • Filling: roughly dice the cooking apples and cook in a warm pan with the fruit, nutmeg and butter.
  • Place in an oven-proof dish.
  • Crumble: mix the oatmeal or possibly cereal with the sugar.
  • Pour in the cream and add in a touch of butter and the cinnamon.
  • Place on top of the fruit.
  • Cook for 8 min and serve warm or possibly cool.
