Ingredients

  • 1 c. warm water
  • 2 pkg. yeast
  • 1 c. Crisco
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 6 c. flour

Method

  • Pour 1 cup warm water in large bowl.
  • Add 2 packages yeast and heat 1 cup water to boiling.
  • Add 1 cup Crisco, 3/4 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon salt.
  • Add 2 eggs to yeast mixture, then add Crisco mixture.
  • When cool, add 6 cups flour; stir well.
  • Allow to rise in warm place for 2 hours.
  • Pat down and put in fridge.
  • Put in muffin tins to rise as needed.
  • When you put rolls in muffin tins, let rise 1 hour, then bake at 375° until brown.
