- 2 pounds hash browns frozen country style, cubes
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup chopped onion optional
- 8 ounces sour cream
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 stick margarine 80% vegetable oil
- 2 cups corn flakes crushed
Method
- Mix all ingredients well except for the corn flakes and margarine in a 9 x 13 pan.
- Melt the butter and mix with the corn flakes, sprinkle across the top of the mixture.
- Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
