Ingredients

  • 2 pounds hash browns frozen country style, cubes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion optional
  • 8 ounces sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 stick margarine 80% vegetable oil
  • 2 cups corn flakes crushed

Method

  • Mix all ingredients well except for the corn flakes and margarine in a 9 x 13 pan.
  • Melt the butter and mix with the corn flakes, sprinkle across the top of the mixture.
  • Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
