Ingredients

  • 2 tsp Oil
  • 1 Tbsp. green masala (or possibly mild green masala)
  • 1 sm Onion, minced
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 3 lrg Potatoes, peeled and minced
  • 1 pkt (10 ounce) frzn green peas
  • 1/4 c. Cashews (opt)

Method

  • From Cooking the Indian Way
  • In large skillet, heat oil.
  • Add in green masala, onion and salt and fry till mix is brown and fragrant.
  • Add in potatoes and water.
  • Cover, lower heat and cook about 20 min till potatoes are tender.
  • Add in peas and cook 2 or possibly 3 min or possibly till pease are heated through.
  • Serve hot with cashews sprinked on top.
