Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup butter
- 3 tablespoons water
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup slivered almonds
Method
- In a heavy pot boil water, sugar and butter to 285 degrees or crack stage on a candy thermometer.
- Pour into rimmed baking sheet.
- Sprinkle with chocolate chips, and spread when melted.
- Sprinkle on slivered or crushed almonds.
