Ingredients
- 2 egg whites
- 1 3/8 cups brown sugar
- 2 cups ground almonds
- 3 1/4 tablespoons flour
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- almond flakes
Method
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
- Beat the egg whites until stiff, add the sugar, ground almonds, flour, and cinnamon. Mix well.
- Spoon dough onto baking tray lined with parchment paper, and sprinkle almond flakes on top of each piece. Flatten each piece with a fork.
- The portions should be slightly separated because the dough will expand during baking.
- Bake for 20 minutes.
