Ingredients

  • 2 to 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 pkg. yeast
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine

Method

  • Mix 3/4 cup flour, sugar, salt and yeast.
  • Heat milk, water and margarine to 120°.
  • Gradually add dry ingredients and beat 2 minutes.
  • Stir in enough flour to make a stiff dough.
  • Turn out onto a floured board and knead 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Divide into 12 pieces.
  • Shape into balls and lightly pat out.
  • Place on greased pan.
  • Cover and place in warm spot and let rise until double. Bake at 375° until brown.
