Ingredients
- 3 lb. cabbage, shredded
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. salt
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 1 to 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. salad oil
- 1 c. vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. celery seed
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
Method
- Mix together cabbage, green pepper, onion and 1 to 1 1/2 cups sugar.
- Set aside.
- Blend remaining ingredients and bring to a full boil over high heat, stirring constantly.
- Pour over cabbage mixture immediately.
- Let cool.
- Cover and store in the refrigerator.
- Keeps 9 days.
