Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2/3 c. undiluted Carnation milk
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. mini marshmallows
  • 1 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 2/3 c. sugar

Method

  • Cream butter, evaporated milk, salt and sugar over medium heat.
  • Cook for 4 to 5 minutes.
  • Stir constantly.
  • Start timing when mixture starts to bubble around edge of pan.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Stir in marshmallows, chocolate pieces, vanilla and nuts. Stir vigorously for 1 minute or until blended.
  • Pour into an 8-inch square buttered pan.
  • Cool and cut into squares.
