Ingredients
- 2 egg whites
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1/3 c. water
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 sq. unsweetened chocolate, melted
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
Method
- Combine egg whites, sugar, salt, cream of tartar and water in double boiler over boiling water.
- Beat with mixer 7 minutes or until icing peaks.
- Remove from heat.
- Continue beating until it cools.
- Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla.
