- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 12 cup onion, chopped
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 12 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 12 teaspoon hot pepper flakes
- 12 cup carrot, diced
- 12 cup mushroom, diced
- 12 cup green beans, chopped
- 12 cup garbanzo beans
- 12 cup cooked rice or 12 cup cooked orzo pasta
- 12 cup cooked chicken, diced
- 12 cup celery, diced
- 12 cup zucchini, diced
- 12 cup green peas
- salt and pepper, to taste
Method
- Heat oil in small Dutch oven.
- Saute vegetables until tender.
- Add chicken broth and heat to simmer.
- Add remaining beans, rice or pasta if using.
- Heat to simmer.
- Add parsley and pepper flakes.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve at once.
