Ingredients

  • 2 12 lbs potatoes, peeled, quartered
  • 3 -4 garlic cloves
  • 1 (250 g) containerphiladelphia herb & garlic cream cheese spread
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • pepper

Method

  • cook the potatoes and garlic in boiling water in large covered saucepan 15 to 20 minute or until potatoes are tender; drain.
  • Return to saucepan.
  • add the remaining ingredients; mash with potato masher or ricer until smooth.
  • We sometimes add a small dash of butter for taste, we have substituted with just plain cream cheese, but we prefer Herb & Garlic.
