Ingredients
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple in its own juice (not heavy syrup)
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 2 boxes vanilla pudding (cooking kind)
- Cool Whip
Method
- Make cake as directed. Bake in a 9 x 13-inch pan. Mix together pineapple and sugar; bring to a boil.
- Pour over warm cake.
- Cook pudding according to package directions.
- While still warm, pour over pineapple mixture.
- Cool and top with Cool Whip. Must be kept in the refrigerator.
