Ingredients
- 1 prime rib of beef
- 2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 c. milk
- 4 eggs
Method
- Roast the prime rib of beef according to cooking instructions. While meat cooks, sift together flour and salt.
- Stir in milk, beating vigorously until smooth.
- Add the eggs, one at a time, beating 1 minute after each egg.
- Chill 2 hours.
- Half an hour before roast is done, put 1/4 cup of beef drippings in a roasting pan.
- Set in the oven until sizzling hot.
- Cook pudding 15 minutes in oven at 350° or until golden and crisp at edges.
- Add some dripping and use the rest for gravy.
