Ingredients
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/2 c. sugar
- ??? c. shortening
- 2 c. warm water
- 4 to 5 c. flour
Method
- Put yeast in one cup warm water to dissolve.
- To other cup water, add sugar and shortening.
- Add water with yeast and gradually add flour.
- Let rise in warm place.
- Turn out on floured board and knead.
- Cut with glass or cutter into small rolls. Place in buttered pan to rise.
- Cook at 350°.
- Before rolls are completely done, brush tops with butter and let brown.
- Makes approximately 36.
