Ingredients

  • 1 c. warm water
  • 1 pkg. dry instant yeast or 1 Tbsp.
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 4 Tbsp. oil or melted oleo
  • 3 1/2 to 4 c. flour

Method

  • Mix water, yeast, salt, sugar and egg and whip with wire whip. Add oil and flour.
  • If using an electric mixer, it will be less kneading by hand.
  • When dough is not sticky, oil and let set for about 30 minutes.
  • Make out into your favorite rolls, buns, etc. Makes good cinnamon rolls.
  • Can be refrigerated in airtight container for up to 3 days.
