Ingredients
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 2 c. pecans
Method
- Mix buttermilk, sugar and soda together in saucepan.
- Cook until brown and forms a soft ball in cold water.
- Remove from heat and add vanilla and butter.
- Beat until glossy.
- Add pecan meats; stir until thick.
- Spoon out onto wax paper and cool.
