Ingredients

  • 4 slices veal cubed steak (about 1 lb.)
  • flour
  • lemon and pepper seasoning salt (McCormick)
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • dry bread crumbs, unflavored

Method

  • Sprinkle veal slices with seasoning salt. Dip both sides in flour. Dip slices in beaten egg and finally into fine dry bread crumbs, pressing crumbs in well with your hand.
  • Refrigerate at least 1 hour, so that coating will stick when meat is fried.
  • Fry in 1/2-inch oil at 375° until brown and crisp, turning only once. Serve with boiled potatoes and green salad. Serves 4.
