Ingredients

  • 2 pizza shells
  • 2 tbsp. dry basil
  • 2 teaspoon dry oregano
  • 1 tbsp. dry parsley
  • 1/8 c. freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon Louisiana warm sauce
  • 1/3 c. extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly grnd pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 pound shredded Mozzarella
  • 1/2 pound shredded sharp Provolone cheese

Method

  • Mix ingredients, except Mozzarella, Provolone and pizza shells, together to make a sauce.
  • In a separate container, mix the Mozzarella and Provolone together.
  • Smear half the sauce over each pizza shell; cover each with half the cheese mix.
  • Bake on top oven rack at 450 degrees for 5 min.
  • Yield: two (16 inch) pizzas.
