Ingredients
- 1/2 c. scalded milk
- 4 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 4 c. all-purpose flour, sifted
- 2 tsp. salt
Method
- Combine 1 cup boiling water and milk in a bowl.
- Add 3 teaspoons sugar and margarine, mixing well.
- Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup warm water.
- Add to milk mixture and mix well.
- Set aside.
