Ingredients
- 2 c. warm water
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 Tbsp. shortening
- about 3 c. self-rising flour
Method
- Combine water, sugar, yeast and shortening.
- Mix well.
- Mix in enough of the flour to make a workable dough to roll out for biscuits.
- Roll dough and cut out biscuits.
- Place on greased baking sheet.
- Let stand 1 hour in warm place.
