Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup packed dark brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1-3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- Sugar
Method
- Preheat oven to 325°. In a small bowl, cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg, water and vanilla. Combine flour and baking soda; add to creamed mixture and mix well.
- Shape into 1-in. balls. Place on greased

- Bake 15-20 minutes or until edges begin to brown. Cool on wire racks.
