Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup packed dark brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1-3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • Sugar

Method

  • Preheat oven to 325°. In a small bowl, cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg, water and vanilla. Combine flour and baking soda; add to creamed mixture and mix well.
