Ingredients
- 2 1/4 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 1/3 c. Crisco or 4 Tbsp. salad oil
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 3/4 c. warm water
- 1 c. warmed tomato sauce
- 8 oz. shredded Mozzarella cheese
Method
- Sift together flour, salt and sugar.
- With pastry blender, cut in Crisco. Dissolve yeast in water. Add to flour mixture. Beat vigorously 2 minutes. Dust surface.
- Knead 25 times.
- Let rest 10 to 15 minutes. Spread on greased pan.
- Top with warm sauce and Mozzarella cheese.
- Bake at 425° for 15 minutes. Yields 1 cookie sheet size pizza.
