Ingredients

  • 1 c. coconut
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 German chocolate cake mix, mix as directed
  • 1 lb. box powdered sugar
  • 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
  • 1 stick oleo

Method

  • Grease 13 x 9-inch pan well.
  • Spread coconut and pecans over bottom of pan.
  • Mix cake mix as directed on box.
  • Spread on top of previous mixture.
  • Mix powdered sugar and cream cheese.
  • Add oleo and spoon on top of cake.
  • Bake at 350° until cake pulls away from cake pan, approximately 45 minutes.
  • Cool 10 minutes and turn onto serving tray.
  • Cool and serve.
